Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Jean Wright
Suicide Prevention Instructor, Founder, One Spirit
As a licensed Suicide Prevention Instructor for the past five years, in person and online, Dr. Wright has certified hundreds of professionals to step in when it counts-social workers, nurses, police officers, teachers, therapists, counselors, and health care providers.
During her 35-year career in public education, and now, she teaches the way people remember: with empathy, real stories, and clear steps you can actually use. Participants describe her trainings as eye-opening and deeply human—sessions where you're invited in, not talked at. The 3R series carries that same spirit, built to give everyday people and professionals alike the confidence to help save a life.

In their words: What participants take away.
"I loved this training! All of my expectations were met. I'm a social worker, but I'd recommend it for everyday citizens, too."
— Catrina Collins, Henry Ford Hospital
"Very effective training, especially the myths and facts. Dr. Wright teaches with empathy and compassion."
— Tracie Hunt, Case Manager
"The statistics were eye-opening, and the stories really captured my attention. Now I know what to do—and what not to do."
— Marvin Jordan, Lincoln Behavioral Services "She made me feel involved in the webinar, not just talked at. And the role play was very real."
— Lora Underwood, Program Coordinator, Senior Regional Collaborative
"Everyone who works with people needs this training. I never knew there were so many clues that tell you someone is at risk. I'll admit I've missed signs in my career, and reacted the wrong way by trying to fix problems myself. Now I know better."
— Robert Williams, Veterans Administration
