3R stands for Recognize, Respond, Refer — a simple, repeatable framework for noticing when someone is struggling, having a caring conversation, and connecting them to help.
Who are these courses for?
Professionals in healthcare, education, social services, and law enforcement — and anyone who wants to be ready to help. No clinical background required.
Do I have to take the courses in order?
We recommend starting with Beginner, then Intermediate, then Advanced. The Beginner course assumes no prior knowledge, so it's a comfortable place to begin.
How are the courses delivered?
Each course is fully online and self-paced, so you can move through the modules on your own schedule.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes — you'll earn a certificate of completion for each level. The Advanced certification is valid for three years, with a short recertification when it expires.
What does each course cost, and is there a bundle?
Beginner $297, Intermediate $597, and Advanced $1,197. You can also enroll in all three as the Complete 3R Series bundle for $1,797 — a saving over enrolling separately.
How long do I have access to the courses?
You'll have lifetime access to every course you enroll in — revisit the material whenever you need it. You'll also have access to the Lifesavers Community for a minimum of 12 months after your enrollment date.
What's your refund policy?
You'll find full details on our Terms of Service/Privacy Policy page.
Do these courses offer continuing education credits (CEUs)?
Upon completion, CEU's are offered for the Beginner's Course (3), the Intermediate Course (5), and the Advanced Course (8).
What if I'm struggling right now?
You matter, and help is available. Call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911.
"The information was very helpful and taught me a lot that I can use to help others who I may see the signs of suicide, but did not know what to say before I learned about the different ways to approach them." Eboni Thomas, MSW, Street Wise Partners of Michigan
